This journey invites you to discover the serene beauty of the Fuegian landscape, where nature reveals its full magnitude among mountains, forests, and lakes. An ideal tour for those who wish to contemplate the vastness and tranquility of the end of the world.
The journey begins in Ushuaia, following National Route No. 3 northward. As we leave the Beagle Channel behind, the landscape transforms: the majestic Mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos come into view, and further ahead stretches the vast Carbajal Valley, covered with peat bogs that are part of the region’s economic history.
Along the way, you can see the valleys where, during winter, various snow activities take place — such as dog sled rides with Huskies, snowshoe walks, snowmobile excursions, and cross-country skiing.
Our next stop will be at Haruwen (Winter Center (closed on Mondays), the venue of the National Snow Sculpture Festival. There, we’ll visit the southernmost craft gin distillery on the planet, where we’ll learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting. We’ll also find a small museum dedicated to Argentine motorcycles, featuring unique pieces from historic brands such as Puma, Tehuelche, and Siambretta.
Upon reaching the Paso Garibaldi, the highest point of the journey, we’ll stop to admire one of the most spectacular views in Tierra del Fuego: Escondido and Fagnano Lakes surrounded by the Patagonian Andean forest. This is the only crossing of the Andes mountain range that remains entirely within Argentine territory.
Continuing along the route, we’ll pass by the Bronzovich sawmill, located on the shore of Lake Escondido, and then reach the immense Fagnano lake, one of the largest in South America, stretching over 100 kilometers in length.

Due to changing weather conditions and the possibility of rain, we recommend dressing in layers — what we call the “onion style.” This way, you can remove layers as you warm up.
Throughout the year, wind and cold temperatures are predominant, with an average temperature of around 6°C (43°F). The weather is highly changeable, and during the same day you may experience sunshine, rain, and even snow.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring animals on the excursions.

Yes, it includes a traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue (lamb “a la cruz”). Drinks are not included. A vegetarian menu is available upon request.
