We invite you to enjoy a special night where surprise and adrenaline take center stage, with a snowshoe walk and a thrilling ride on sleds pulled by husky dogs during the Snow and Fire excursion.
To enjoy this experience, you will be picked up from your accommodation and taken to the valley, located about 21 km from the city center. Upon arrival at the main lodge, the guides will welcome you, explain how the excursion will unfold, divide participants into groups, and then the activities will begin.
The guides will help us strap on the snowshoes to walk safely and begin a peaceful, scenic 30-minute walk across the valley in the heart of the winter night. A magical trail will lead us into the forest, made up of subantarctic trees such as lengas, ñires, and coihues.
We’ll return to the dome where the cook will be waiting for us with a hearty stew, mulled wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner will be accompanied by live guitar music, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
After this satisfying dinner, having shared a unique experience with fellow adventurers, we’ll embark on another thrilling activity: a ride on sleds pulled by husky dogs—a loyal, noble, and intelligent breed—that will take us along snowy trails through the Tierra Mayor Valley.
Upon arriving at the main lodge, we will return to the city of Ushuaia, reminiscing about this wonderful experience.

As the excursion takes place almost entirely outdoors, clothing should be very warm. We recommend renting snow clothes in town. Waterproof footwear is mandatory.
On this excursion we will pick you up at your accommodation. After you make your reservation we will contact you to let us know where your accommodation will be located.
No, unfortunately it is not possible to attend the excursions with animals.
The different options offered by the excursion must be contracted in advance as they have a quota available and cannot be changed on the spot.
The idea of being at the End of the World is to disconnect from everything. There is wifi in our vehicles. However, when we get away from the city and hit the road, there is no phone signal or data.
Premium Esmeralda Lagoon Trekking
This walk is one of the most accessible that can be done in the southernmost city in the world. Unique and comforting where the main objective is to reach the Emerald Lagoon to appreciate its unique color that gives rise to the name.
