When the sun begins to hide behind the mountains and night slowly falls over the valley, the landscape transforms: the temperature drops, the moon peeks out from between the snow-capped peaks, and everything is wrapped in a magical atmosphere.
It is the perfect time to bundle up, lace up your boots, and join an unforgettable night adventure at the southernmost tip of the world.
The experience includes a guided walk through the Fuegian forests under the light of headlamps. With crampons and trekking poles, the hike takes on a new dimension: the silence of nature, the hidden sounds of the night, and the immensity of the glacial valleys reveal a different side of Ushuaia—serene and profound.
At the end of the trek, a mountain refuge by Esmeralda Lagoon offers a well-deserved rest. The warmth of the wood stove, a comforting dinner, and the starry sky complete the charm of the day.
This circuit, covering about 10 km in total, allows you to discover the geological history of the region and experience the pure essence of Patagonia. The departure takes place from the city along National Route 3, with privileged views of Mount Olivia and the Cinco Hermanos peaks, which frame the beginning of this journey.
Each departure is subject to weather conditions, and the coordination team stays in constant contact with passengers to ensure a safe and rewarding experience.

IMPORTANT: Extra information – Required equipment:
Due to changing weather conditions and the possibility of rain, we recommend dressing in layers (onion-style clothing). For trekking and adventure excursions in general, it is essential to be well-dressed for the cold and to wear the right footwear: Waterproof trekking clothes and boots are MANDATORY in order to participate in the activity
Throughout the year, wind and cold prevail, with an average temperature of 6°C. The weather is very changeable, and within the same day you may experience moments of sun, rain, and even snow.
The difficulty of the trek to Esmeralda Lagoon is moderate. Please note that you will be walking for approximately 4 hours (2 hours each way). The terrain is generally flat, except for the final section where there is a small hill.
We recommend this excursion for ages 12 and up.
No, unfortunately it is not possible to bring animals on the excursions.
The idea of being at the End of the World is to disconnect a little from everything. Our vehicles are equipped with Wi-Fi; however, once we leave the city and head out on the road, there is no phone signal or data coverage.
The delicious box lunches we offer during our trekking excursions include water, a sandwich, and something sweet to recharge your energy.
