An authentic experience to discover the charm of the natural surroundings of Lake Escondido and the end of the Andes Mountain Range, guided by a pioneering family of the region.
The hosts’ ancestors arrived in Tierra del Fuego in 1910 and, since 1957, have established their estancia on the shores of Lake Escondido, 55 km from Ushuaia. Their history and tradition are still present today in every detail of the experience, which combines nature, culture, and Fuegian hospitality.
The activity begins with a two-hour horseback ride. Along the way, you will enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of Lake Escondido and ride through the Fuegian forest until reaching the lake’s shore. It is a unique way to connect with the landscape, accompanied by well-trained horses and knowledgeable local guides.
To end the day, guests are welcomed in a cabin surrounded by horses, where a traditional beef barbecue is served. A genuine lunch that completes the experience, accompanied by the warmth of the hosts and the tranquility of the Patagonian surroundings.
The excursion ends with the return to Ushuaia.
