Overview
We invite you to explore the authentic End of the World, a unique and magical place that awakens unforgettable emotions. Ushuaia is a must-visit destination for those who wish to reach the ultimate end of the legendary Pan-American Highway, which begins in Alaska and, after traveling over 15,000 kilometers, culminates in Tierra del Fuego National Park. Here, you can capture the iconic photo that certifies your arrival at this remarkable milestone. Beyond this point, just 1,000 km away, lies the majestic Antarctic.
In the morning or at noon, we will start the journey to Tierra del Fuego National Park, located just 12 km from Ushuaia’s city center. Before entering the park, we will make a stop at the End of the World Train station, where you’ll enjoy a scenic ride of approximately 60 minutes that concludes within the park.
Once the train ride ends, the group will reunite with the vehicle and guide inside the park to continue the tour. Our first stop will be at Ensenada Bay, a breathtaking spot where the Andes, sub-Antarctic forests, and the sea converge to create a unique ecosystem in Argentina. This area, once inhabited by aborigen peoples, features archaeological remains of their presence. Additionally, it is home to the southernmost post office in the Americas, where you can send postcards to any part of the world when it is open.
We will continue exploring other scenic points in the park, taking short walks to admire the extraordinary beauty of the native flora and fauna. Highlights include the glacial Acigami (or Roca) Lake, shared with Chile, and Lapataia Bay, where you’ll find the iconic sign marking the end of the Pan-American Highway. Each stop on this tour will connect you with nature and reveal unforgettable landscapes.
