Helicopter overflight – Emerald Lagoon – 15 min.

Overview

Esmeralda Lagoon is located 19 km from the city of Ushuaia. city of Ushuaia. To access it by land, you must cross the forest of the Lasifashaj Valley. We will fly over it, avoiding a walk of more than 4 hours, in only 15 minutes, having the best views from a privileged angle.

This expedition begins by flying over the bay of Ushuaia, gaining altitude to enter the Olivia River Valley, appreciating the majestic Mount Olivia, and the characteristic Mount Cinco Hermanos. Soon we will be able to see the magnificent Carbajal Valley, with its amazing peat composition formed over thousands of years. The adventure continues through the valley and accessing a second mountain range that houses an incredible mirror of water called Laguna Esmeralda, due to its extraordinary color. This jewel of nature is one of the most visited attractions. At the top of the glacier is the Ojo del Albino Glacier, from which it is fed. Finally we return to the heliport from where we will return to the hotels.
