White Adventure

Overview

Season July to September

Aventura Blanca is an unparalleled experience where the conjunction between the different elements of nature converge to give the visitor the sensation of walking and knowing the mysterious trails of the ancient lumberjacks of the Isla Grande of Tierra del Fuego.

We prepare ourselves to live this new experience, waiting expectantly at the hotel for the transportation that will take us along the last kilometers of the mythical Panamerican Highway (Route 3), heading north until we reach the winter center, which is located in one of the valleys adjacent to the Andes Mountain Range.

In this great snowy valley we arrive at the main refuge from where we begin the journey on sleds pulled by Husky dogs (extroverted, gentle, faithful, intelligent and friendly breed).
After crossing it, we enter the forest through an old loggers’ road.
In the middle of this centenary forest of Lengas we arrive at the refuge of the Hachero (small cabin of logs heated with firewood).

We say goodbye to the Huskies dogs, who will rest after their work in the White Adventure excursion and it will be our turn to venture into the valley with a ride on tandem snowmobiles, with prior instruction and helmet fitting.
A 5 km ride through incredible landscapes, indicated by a guide who will lead the way.
Once the objective is achieved, we start the return journey that ends at the refuge, where we recover energy with hot chocolate and interesting talks about the experience we have lived.
We return to the starting point and return to Ushuaia.
